Despite missing the final sixgames, four because of an ankle injury, Bell was second on the team with 239 rushing yards on 60 carries. He also had two rushing touchdowns. Vegas KOs Taylor: Bruins receiver Junior Taylor accepted an invitation to play in the Las Vegas All-American Classic The Las Vegas All-American Classic is an annual post-season college football all-star game played each January or February since 2002. The game was known in 2002 and 2003 as the Paradise Bowl on Jan. 15, but that won't happen. According to the bowl's Web site, the game was cancelled Friday because of ``a drop in sponsorship monies and a primary moneylender falling through.'' Taylor is still trying to secure an invitation to the Jan. 20 East-West Shrine game The East-West Shrine Game is an annual post-season college football all-star game played each January since 1925. The game is sponsored by the fraternal group Nobles of the Mystic Shrine and the net proceeds are earmarked to some of the Shrine's charitable works, most notably the at Houston's Reliant Stadium. Already, UCLA kicker Justin Medlock and defensive end Justin Hickman accepted invitations. The game kicks off at 4 p.m. and will be on ESPN ESPN Entertainment and Sports Programming Network 2. Surgery update: The availability of two starters for spring practice is in question because of offseason surgeries, but both are expected to be ready for August training camp.
