Hospitals and physician offices use CodeCorrect to identify and plug leaks in the revenue cycle, benchmark performance, comply with complex fraud and abuse regulations, update patient records and hospital inventory files, and get full reimbursement for services they perform.

Currently, UCG is a leading provider of healthcare coding and reimbursement information mainly to physician offices through newsletters, reference services, and educational workshops and conferences.

"The acquisition is a terrific opportunity for UCG once again to integrate its award-winning editorial content with an excellent technology-based product that delivers a vast body of information and is easy to use," UCG partner Ed Peskowitz said.

"We'll help CodeCorrect by leveraging our great content, marketing and sales expertise, and ability to create new products and enhancements to existing products," he said.

A model that works for UCG

This model works for UCG. Less than two years ago, the company acquired ATX See ATX motherboard.
