UCA&L Changes Name to SOFTBANK Services Group.

BUFFALO, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 29, 1996--UCA&L, the computer industry's leading provider of outsourced sales and support services support services Psychology Non-health care-related ancillary services–eg, transportation, financial aid, support groups, homemaker services, respite services, and other services , announced today that it will now be known as SOFTBANK Services Group. The name change reflects the strategic role that UCA&L plays within the SOFTBANK family of companies, and the ways in which the companies will partner to provide clients an expanded range of outsourcing services, both domestically and around the globe.

The name change caps a year of tremendous growth for UCA&L, including the introduction of a comprehensive suite of Web-based electronic commerce and electronic technical support services; domestic facility expansion; the acquisition of PSC (Public Service Commission) Same as PUC.  Ltd., Europe's leading independent technical support outsourcing services firm; and the launch of operations in Eastern Europe Eastern Europe

Likewise, through affiliate offices in Tokyo, where SOFTBANK is headquartered, UCA&L has begun to provide clients with outsourcing services to the Japanese market.
