It is one of the world's oldest arts. Earliest History The art of predynastic Egypt (c.4000–3200 B.C. history and will include a day at the exhibition. "By taking this course, students will be better able to appreciate what they're seeing in the exhibit and put it in the context of ancient Egyptian history, culture, and religion," says instructor Roberta Shaw, who teaches art history at several California colleges and universities.
