UBNetworks Hires New Operations and Technical Chiefs.

IJNT.net, Inc. (Nasdaq:NM:IJNT), an emerging integrated communications provider, which will soon be known as Universal Broadband Networks ("UBNetworks"), today announced the hiring of Nancy J. Hobbs and Steve M. Pierson as President/Chief Operating Officer and Chief Technical Officer, respectively.

Nancy Hobbs joins UBNetworks after serving as Area President/General Manager for Verizon Wireless' Southwest Area, encompassing markets in California and Nevada, with 20million POPs and responsibility for $1billion in revenue, where she met or exceeded growth objectives and revenue/expense targets. Hobbs also spearheaded the replacement of the company's network infrastructure in Los Angeles. With thirty years' experience in the telecommunications industry, Hobbs has also served in a range of other positions and special assignments with Verizon Wireless and Pacific Bell, spanning a variety of functions and responsibilities including general management, marketing, business and consumer sales, and network operations over more than twenty years.

Steve Pierson joins UBNetworks as its new Chief Technical Officer, having most recently served as Vice President of Engineering/Operations for Verizon Wireless for California and Nevada. Previously, Pierson was Chief Technical Officer for AirTouch subsidiary Belgacom Mobile S.A., where he had engineering and operations responsibility for the Belgian market. Pierson has had broad experience in other key AirTouch posts in Europe and the United States as well as network management and design for Pacific Bell and planning, management and operations assignments in Nevada Bell.

Nancy Hobbs graduated from the University of San Francisco with a BA in English and completed a 1992 Senior Management Program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is on the Board of Directors of Wedbush Morgan Securities and a member of the Center for Corporate Innovation, as well as a member of the Chief Executive Roundtable of the University of California, Irvine.

Steve Pierson studied Business Administration at the University of California Berkeley and at Penn State University. He also completed studies in telecom engineering and economics at the Bell System Center for Technical Education and at Stanford University, as well as information technology and software development studies at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
