Reyna, the U.S. captain, is sidelined with a minor hamstring strain suffered in Tuesday's loss to Morocco; O'Brien missed Friday's victory over Venezuela with an injury to his Achilles' tendon, which has given him trouble in the past. Defender Gregg Berhalter, who replaced injured Cory Gibbs on the roster, likely won't play until a closed-door match June 6 against Angola in Hamburg.

Latvia update: The Latvians, surprise qualifiers for the 2004 European Championship, finished fifth in Europe's Group 3 in qualifying, going 4-5-3 with victories over only Luxembourg and Liechtenstein and finishing behind Baltic rival Estonia. Their last game was Dec. 30, a 2-1 victory over North Korea. Midfielder Jurijs Laizans and striker Maris Verpakovskis lead Latvia.
