U.S. HEALTHCARE ANNOUNCES CASH DIVIDEND
U.S. HEALTHCARE ANNOUNCES CASH DIVIDEND BLUE BELL, Pa., Feb. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. Healthcare, Inc.
(NASDAQ: USHC), one of the nation's leading providers of managed health care services, today announced that its regular quarterly cash dividend on common stock was increased from $.11 to $.14 per share and on Class B stock from $.099 to $.126 per share.
The first quarterly cash dividends under the new rates will be paid on March 24, 1992, to shareholders of record as of March 17. Costas C. Nicolaides, executive vice president and chief financial officer, said the company believes its continued growth in income and membership merits this dividend increase. The company recently reported record earnings of $2.08 per share for 1991. In addition, it reported an increase of 90,000 members for January of 1992, the highest membership increase in any one month in the history of the company. U.S. Healthcare provides managed health care services through its HMOs in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maryland.
