The U.S. Forest Service has announced the appointment of Abigail Kimbell, regional forester for Northern Region, as its first-ever female to serve in that role. She replaces Dale Bosworth who moved to Missoula, Montana Missoula is a city in and the county seat of Missoula CountyGR6 in western Montana, United States. As of the United States 2000 Census, the population was 57,053, with more than 100,000 in the metropolitan area making it the second-largest city in , upon his retirement.
