(Environmental Health-'Net).http://www.epa.gov/safewater/security The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (U.S. EPA's) Water Protection Task Force (WPTF WPTF World Telecommunication Policy Forum ) and regional offices, working with many partners, are taking actions to improve the security of U.S. drinking water drinking water supply of water available to animals for drinking supplied via nipples, in troughs, dams, ponds and larger natural water sources; an insufficient supply leads to dehydration; it can be the source of infection, e.g. leptospirosis, salmonellosis, or of poisoning, e.g. and wastewater Wastewater is any water that has been adversely affected in quality by anthropogenic influence. It comprises liquid waste discharged by domestic residences, commercial properties, industry, and/or agriculture and can encompass a wide range of potential contaminants and infrastructure.
