The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area.  Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration will use Autonomy's Portal-In-a-Box for the upcoming Export.gov project.

Export.gov is designed to increase U.S. economic power by providing companies with the information they need to successfully market and sell their products overseas. The site, scheduled to launch in November, will compile information from more than twenty-two federal agencies involved in export promotion, and deliver it on a public Web page. Autonomy's technology will easily integrate related information from the disparate sources. Through the Export.gov portal, users will have personalized per·son·al·ize

"Export.gov helps to simplify the process of selling goods and services In economics, economic output is divided into physical goods and intangible services. "One of the keys to success for the Export.gov site, is to bring information in any form together, and deliver it to the user in a targeted format that meets their needs. Autonomy's Portal-in-a-Box technology will automatically consolidate government data in more than six languages and countless data formats such as Web pages, word processor documents, database data and streaming content for the site. Through Autonomy's personalization feature, users will be able to establish exactly what they want to see from the site, and Autonomy's technology will automatically provide only the most relevant data from the knowledge base. In the future, Autonomy's profiling technology will help users identify other experts on-line, creating powerful communities of interest and enabling collaboration.
