U.S. Army awards CODE Plus Blanket Purchasing Agreement.
As part of the United State Government's and in particular the Department of Defense's strive to improve its logistic processes and operations, CODE Plus, Inc. has been awarded a Blanket Purchasing Agreement to provide passive RFID software and engineering services to the Department of Defense and the U.S. Coast Guard.
This two-year BPA is a multiple award contract vehicle that can be used to issue various RFID related task orders each with a ceiling of up to$5,000,000.00. Under the terms of this agreement, CODE plus will supply the Army its eManage IT RFID Tag & Ship Solution, eManage IT RFID Network Health Monitor and an array of technical engineering services including software development, system integration, training and deployment.
"This award is the latest in the series of recognitions CODE plus has received as a forerunner in the area of RFID by the Commercial and U.S. Federal Government communities," said Jinan Abou Shakra, President and CEO, CODE plus.
