The new license includes SEER-SEM (Software Estimating Model) and SEER-SSM (Software Sizing Model) and has been made available on an unlimited basis to the Army cost analysts and engineers in Washington D.C., Huntsville, Ft. Monmouth, Aberdeen, Warren, Orlando and Picatinny.

The Army has had success with SEER Tools at individual locations for 10 years. The corporate-wide license is intended to extend that success and streamline estimating procedures across all locations. The tools will be used to help the Army successfully estimate the software lifecycle costs of weapon and information systems. Because the Army is geographically dispersed, using the same tools at all offices helps facilitate the development and review of cost estimates.
