Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women called on Andorra Andorra (ăndôr`ə), Fr. Andorre (äNdôr`), officially Principality of Andorra, autonomous parliamentary co-principality (2005 est. pop. , a country located between France and Spain and about 2.5 times the size of Washington, D.C., to deliver its report on compliance with the United Nation Convention on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women (CEDWAW).

Andorra had reported that it regards unborn children as having the right to life and sees abortion as a crime.

It took only one of the 23 "experts" on the committee to interpret "discrimination against women" to mean "being pro-life pro-life Pro-choice, see there ," to exert this pressure on Andorra. The committee was to hear a response from the Andorran delegation the following month.
