Startin' Up, Hittin' the Road: Kanyok has been with ``Movin' Out'' since its development in Chicago. She danced in the ensemble, understudied the role of Brenda on Broadway and joined the road company, alternating the role with Holly Cruikshank. After three years, ``It's still fresh, still new, still exciting to do,'' says Kanyok. ``Brenda's a dream. She's quirky quirk n. 1. A peculiarity of behavior; an idiosyncrasy: "Every man had his own quirks and twists" Harriet Beecher Stowe. 2. , she's crazy, she changes, she grows up a lot. So it's exciting. The Geography of Kanyok: Once a Valley resident in the early 1990s, when she and a group of dancer friends congregated in Studio City, the Pennsylvania-born Kanyok has spent her non-``Movin' Out'' hours during the L.A. run near the beach. Home base is in New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of , but work has kept Kanyok bi-coastal for the past 10 years.
