He's the other little wooden boy capturing the hearts and imaginations of children everywhere.

But unlike the imperfect Pinocchio, Noddy noddy, tropical tern including five species in the genus Anous. The name noddy is said to derive from their easy familiarity with man. Noddies are web-footed seabirds with long wings (though shorter than those of most terns) and pointed, tapering bills.  -- based on the popular children's book series by Enid Blyton and the star of his own PBS Kids PBS Kids (often styled all-caps as "PBS KIDS") is the umbrella brand for children's programming aired by the Public Broadcasting Service in the United States.
