``It's a Wonderful Life for Kids'' is a twist on the Christmas classic. The children's book, with charming illustrations by Douglas B. Jones, was penned by the former child actor Jimmy Hawkins, who played little Tommy Bailey in the original Frank Capra film 60 years ago.
