In-Theatre Broadcast of a Major Sporting Contest

TVN Entertainment and AMC (Advanced Mezzanine Card) See AdvancedTCA.  Entertainment Inc., in association with Showtime Event Television (SET) and Joe Hand Promotions, are proud to announce the first live broadcast of a heavyweight boxing event to AMC's digital Megaplex theatres utilizing TVN's revolutionary Digital Content Express service. The October 20th Tyson vs. Golota fight marks the second partnership this year between TVN and AMC to deliver a live event to AMC digital theatres in various locales across the country.

TVN Entertainment Corp., the leading digital distribution services company, will use its Digital Content Express technology to make the broadcast possible. This technology is able to take unique content, such as the Tyson vs. Golota fight, and deliver it to AMC theatres in a protected, efficient and revolutionary process, one that provides superior picture and sound quality upon screening. TVN will transmit the event live via satellite in cooperation with the event's closed circuit distributor Joe Hand Promotions and the National Cinema Network, Inc., a pioneer of cinema marketing whose Digital Theatre Delivery System (DTDS DTDS Disaster Tolerant Disk System
