VENTURE:TOO) is pleased to announce the results of its summer 2005 exploration campaign at the Company's 100% owned Fayolle Property. Some 6 drill holes (FA-05-13 to FA-05-18) for 2,648 meters were completed during this campaign that targeted extensions of the main gold bearing zone in the northeast and southwest directions and added to the definition of the main mineralized min·er·al·ize

FA-05-15 intersected a higher grade zone grading 43.5 g/t Au over 25.1 meters between 25 and 50 meters vertical depth from surface. This near surface zone defines a lens or a "Sigma-type jewelry box" adding to the mineral potential of Fayolle.

(i) Interval details are available on the Company website at www.explorationtyphon.com. Please note that all individual and interval assays are uncut and indicated over core lengths, not true horizontal widths. This summer drilling campaign contains 1,490 samples of which 183 are presented in this release. Figures and geological maps will be available on the Company's web site shortly.

Two out of three definition drill holes (FA-05-13 and 15) intersected gold bearing zones. DDH FA-05-15 intersected a gold bearing zone grading 43.5 g/t Au over 25.1 metres including 378.8 g/t Au over 1.0 meter and 455.2 g/t Au over 1.0 meter, as well as 15 other intersections ranging from 1 g/t Au to 69 g/t Au. All results of DDH FA-05-15 that yielded more than 500 ppb ppb

Au were re-analyzed at a second independent laboratory and all returned similar values.

DDH FA-05-13 intersected 4 mineralized zones. The first zone returned 5.42 g/t Au over 12.0 meters (at a vertical depth of 9.5 meters) including 21.25 meters over 2.8 meters and 44.3 g/t Au over 1.1 meter. The other three zones returned intersections of 1.0 g/t Au over 6.2 meters, 5.1 g/t Au over 1.9 meters and 2.8 g/t Au over 6.7 meters, including a 4.5 g/t Au over 3.4 meters.

The exploration drill holes FA-05-16, 17 and 18 targeted the northeast extension of Fayolle using targets identified by GOCAD(TM), located along a magnetic and structural lineament lin·e·a·ment

Impact of the Winter and Summer 2005 Diamond Drill campaigns

The results of the Summer and Winter 2005 campaigns (also refer to press release dated October 26, 2005) demonstrates that the gold bearing mineralization at Fayolle is oriented northeast / southwest located in a highly deformed and altered corridor wedged between the east / west trending Porcupine-Destor and Manneville Faults. The gold is linked to a mineralized en-echelon network that is repeated at depth and laterally, further linked to east / west anastomosing gold bearing shear zones.

Typhoon has identified two main higher grade gold zones within a mineralized corridor of 300 metres in lateral extension, by 5 to 25 metres wide, up to a 250 metres vertical depth. The gold enriched zone cut by drill hole FA-05-15, grading 43.5 g/t Au over 25.1 metres, appears as a very high grade lens or "Sigma-type jewelry box" having a roughly 50 metres by 40 metres by 10 metres wide dimension.

Typhoon has already initiated a complete synthesis of the 2004-2005 Fayolle database following the favourable drill hole results in 2005 to produce a litho-structural mineralization model for resource estimation purposes expected to be completed in 2006. The work is being done by Innovexplo inc. of Val-d'Or, Quebec Val-d'Or is a city in Quebec, Canada with a population of 32,288 (2006). , and will also consist of identifying lithologies, structures and alteration, as well as geophysical and litho-geochemical signatures linked to the gold mineralization. Defining continuous mineralization and the presence of higher gold grades, as outlined in the 2004-2005 drill campaigns, could potentially have a significant impact in the quality and quantity of gold on the project.
