Type M durometer.

The Model DD-3-M/SP slim probe digital type M durometer is equipped with a 3/16" diameter slim probe attachment. This attachment will allow the user to check the hardness of thin (as thin as .050") non-metallic materials in hard to reach or tight areas. The length and diameter of the slim probe attachment can be customized to fit the customer's application. It is recommended that the gauge be used in conjunction with the Model OS-3 air dampened operating stand, according to the company. The OS-3 is said to help eliminate the human error sometimes associated with durometer testing. (Rex Gauge, 1250 Busch Pkwy., Buffalo Grove, IL 60089)
