Two new principals named at Ackman-Ziff RE Group.


The Ackman-Ziff Real Estate Group announced that Russell Schildkraut and Patrick Hanlon were recently named principals of the firm.

The two represent the firms first new principals since Simon Ziff was named principal over 10-years ago.

With more than 15 years of experience at Ackman-Ziff, Patrick and Russell represent the new wave of investment which Ackman-Ziff has been making in its most valuable asset--its people. The firm has recently grown to over 30-professionals and strives to be the most team oriented real estate capital advisor in the industry.

Russell Schildkraut joined Ackman-Ziff in 1997. Russell is head of underwriting and loan placement and serves as a member of the firm's Executive Committee.

Patrick Hanlon joined Ackman-Ziff in 2000. Patrick serves as a member of the firm's executive committee and is currently leading the firm's equity division.

Gordon Memorial Award for the financing of 522 5th Avenue.

In addition to his position at Ackman-Ziff, Patrick is an Adjunct Professor at the New York University New York University, mainly in New York City; coeducational; chartered 1831, opened 1832 as the Univ. of the City of New York, renamed 1896. It comprises 13 schools and colleges, maintaining 4 main centers (including the Medical Center) in the city, as well as the  Real Estate Masters Program.
