They will serve in advisory positions. Willy Suys, born in Vollezele, Belgium, is married and the father of two children. He is a retired official of the Statistical Office of the European Union (Eurostat). Moving to Luxemburg in 1968 for professional reasons, he became a member of the PhotoClub Mamer in 1969 and has been President of that club since 1984. Starting in competitive photography in 1971, Willy showed special interest in photo-travel slides and monochrome prints. He is a "multi-star exhibitor" of PSA, and has judged almost 150 national and international salons. Since his retirement in 1995, he has taken over the position as Director of the FIAP Patronage Service. He wrote and lectured about the countries he visited with his wife--mainly in Asia, North and South America. He has had personal or collective exhibitions in Belgium, France, Germany and Spain. Alfred Jendroszek was born at Nidda/Hessen, Germany. He began taking pictures in 1948, was one of the founding members of Fotoclub Spectrum Muenchen (FSM) in 1975, and has served as President since that time. Joining PSA as a Life Member since 1975, he has represented Germany as a Country Representative since 1995. Alfred was conferred the honor of FPSA in 1990 and that of Honorary PSA in 1996. He was the Salon Chairman of FSM in 1981 and 1990. His excellent exhibition records have earned him numerous awards and many distinctions and honors at home and overseas. He also served as judge in international salon competitions, and lecturer in many photoclubs in Germany. Since 1992 Alfred has been the President of IIWF (Interessengemeinschaft Internationaler Wettbewerbs-Fotografen) of which he was the founder. This is an organization that carries news of international interests as well as activities of PSA for German-speaking photographers and PSA members in Germany. It is his services to the promotion of photography that we admire most. We welcome Willy Suys and Alfred Jendroszek to the Committee of International Affairs.
