Two new journals from Taylor & Francis.Taylor & Francis (T&F; Philadelphia, PA) has begun the publication of two new journals in 2006 for the legal and criminal justice communities, including "Journal of Digital Forensic Practice" and "Victims & Offenders." Both titles will be published quarterly. "Victims & Offenders" is a new journal that provides an international and interdisciplinary forum for research, outcome studies, and evidence-based policies and practices on victimization victimization Social medicine The abuse of the disenfranchised–eg, those underage, elderly, ♀, mentally retarded, illegal aliens, or other, by coercing them into illegal activities–eg, drug trade, pornography, prostitution. , victim assistance, offender rehabilitation and treatment, and restorative justice A philosophical framework and a series of programs for the criminal justice system that emphasize the need to repair the harm done to crime victims through a process of negotiation, mediation, victim empowerment, and Reparation. The U.S. . T&F said the journal's mission is to publish articles related to victim and offender theories, research and practices. Each issue will carry research results on violence-related victimization, victim services and domestic violence intervention as well as juvenile and adult offender treatment and rehabilitation programs. Special emphasis will be given to evidence-based studies ranging from randomized controlled trials to expert consensus panels to qualitative studies. The first issue includes articles on: pathological teasing and bullying; perspectives of justice for victims of sexual violence; stalking and prosecutorial pros·e·cu·to·ri·al adj.
