Two new journals from Elsevier Science in 2005.Elsevier Elsevier, the world's largest publisher of medical and scientific literature, forms part of the Reed Elsevier group. Based in Amsterdam, the company has substantial operations in the UK, USA and elsewhere. An annual subscription will cost $89 for individuals and $149 for institutions. Explore will be published six times a year beginning in January to address the scientific principles behind, and applications of, evidence-based healing practices for a wide variety of sources, including conventional, alternative, and cross-cultural medicine. Elsevier said editorial will explore the healing arts, consciousness, spirituality, eco-environmental issues and basic science. An annual subscription costs $49 for individuals and $139 for institutions. |
