 infrared thermometers Infrared thermometers measure temperature using blackbody radiation (generally infrared) emitted from objects. They are sometimes called laser thermometers if a laser is used to help aim the thermometer, or non-contact thermometers , the Testo 826-1 and the Testo 826-2, designed specifically for the food industry.

The 826-1 and 826-2 are perfect for noncontact temperature measurements on arriving goods, freezer freezer

the compartment in which meat and offal are stored at freezing temperatures of 10 to 16°F (-12 to -9°C) although there is a trend to lower temperatures of 0 to -22°F (-18 to -30°C).
 foods, prepared foods, and more. Critical measurements can be taken for easy spot-checking without harming the products or damaging the packaging.
