Two industry veterans form Hudson Park Realty.

Capitalizing on a breadth of experience and industry know-how, real estate industry veteran Lynette Tulkoff and leverage buyout specialist Laurence Levy have formed Hudson Park Realty specializing in identifying, negotiating and securing unique opportunistic commercial real estate investments on the East Coast. The new venture will target a range of properties, with a particular focus on the New York market.

Tulkoffs ability to identify opportunities and transform them into deals earned her, in April 2001, the prestigious Real Estate Board of New York's Henry Hart Rice Achievement Award for "Most Ingenious Deal of the Year." The transaction that won her this honor was her role in the purchase and assemblage of the site for the 375,000-sq.-ft. tower at 1010 Avenue of the Americas.

Tulkoff received a bachelor's degree cum laude in theatre from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, a Fulbright Scholarship to continue her theatrical studies and a master's degree from New York University.

Levy, also from South Africa, is a leveraged buyout specialist who acquires and manages operating companies for a number of international partnerships. Among his acquisitions are several real estate entities, including a toll tunnel between Detroit and Windsor, Canada, and more than eight million square feet of warehouse space. Levy also received his bachelor's degree from the University of Witwatersrand, is a Chartered Accountant and a graduate of Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar.

"Our backgrounds have equipped us with the tools and insight to effectively target opportunistic real estate investments," said Tulkoff. "The market conditions and general economic climate make this the right time to launch Hudson Park Realty."
