WILMINGTON, Del. -- Wilmington Trust, one of the nation's leading wealth advisory organizations, announced today that two of its private client advisors were named to Worth magazine's Top 100 Wealth Advisors list. The list is featured in the cover story of the magazine's October 2006 issue.

Both of the Wilmington Trust advisors selected - Thomas Hakala, JD, CPA (Computer Press Association, Landing, NJ) An earlier membership organization founded in 1983 that promoted excellence in computer journalism. "Tom and Ralph embody the excellence of the entire Wealth Advisory team at Wilmington Trust and are truly deserving of this honor," said Rod Wood, executive vice president and head of Wilmington Trust's Wealth Advisory organization. "We thank the editors of Worth for recognizing the considerable talents that Tom and Ralph apply every day on behalf of our wealth advisory clients."

Worth editors reviewed hundreds of nominations for the Top 100 list and only considered wealth advisors with at least 10 years of experience and those who have proved to be capable of managing accounts of at least $10 million. The top advisors devised and executed what editors believed were the most innovative yet appropriate solutions to their clients' complex financial challenges. Work history, educational and professional credentials, client retention success, rigorous reference checks, and the ability to communicate honestly and frankly with clients also weighed heavily in the final selection by Worth editors.
