Two JofA articles win IFAC honors.

The top-ranked article, "Ensuring Ethical Effectiveness" by Randy Myers Randall Kirk Myers (born September 19, 1962 in Vancouver, Washington, U.S.) is a former Major League Baseball relief pitcher who pitched from 1985-1998, with the New York Mets, Cincinnati Reds, San Diego Padres, Chicago Cubs, Baltimore Orioles, and Toronto Blue Jays. (Feb.03, page 28, www.aicpa.org/pubs/lofa/feb2003/myers.htrn), explained how CPAs can help public companies comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act's ethics ethics, in philosophy, the study and evaluation of human conduct in the light of moral principles. Moral principles may be viewed either as the standard of conduct that individuals have constructed for themselves or as the body of obligations and duties that a requirements. The other JofA article chosen, "Maximize Your Global IP" by Michael W. Hardgrove and Mex Voloshko (Apr.03, page 43, www.aicpa.org/pubs/ jofa/apr2003/hardgrov.htm), showed CPAs how to help international corporations manage their intellectual property.
