Two Hundred Latin American Broadcasters Attend First International On-Air Demonstration of HD Radio; Harris, iBiquity and RBS Group Bring IBOC Technology to Latin America.

:HRS) Broadcast Communications Division, a longtime leader in radio transmission and a driving force in HD Radio(TM)/IBOC development and testing, sponsored the first demonstration of the HD Radio system in Latin American at the Extreme Digital Roadshow, during an all-day event designed to help general managers, radio executives and engineers better understand the benefits of and transition to digital radio. The event was held on Thursday, March 13, at the Anatel Auditorium, in Rua Princesa Isabel, Porto Alegre-RS-Brasil. The seminar was co-sponsored by iBiquity and RBS RBS Royal Bank of Scotland

Attendees were able to learn how the HD Radio implementation will affect their radio businesses, as well as what opportunities HD Radio will present.
