Two Goodwill-Operated WorkSource Centers Recognized for Performance Excellence.LOS ANGELES -- Two WorkSource Centers operated by Goodwill Southern California received the 2006 California Award for Performance Excellence (CAPE(TM)) Prospector(TM) Award. The Centers' representatives accepted the awards during the California Council for Excellence Conference on April 7, 2006. The two recipients are Central San Gabriel Valley The San Gabriel Valley is one of the principal valleys of southern California. It lies to the east of the city of Los Angeles, to the north of the Puente Hills, to the south of the San Gabriel Mountains, and to the west of the Inland Empire. WorkSource Center (10507 E. The California Prospector Award(TM) signifies the Centers' and Goodwill's commitment to continuous quality improvement and performance excellence. To receive the award, the Centers were judged in the following areas: leadership, governance and social responsibilities, strategic planning development and measurement, analysis and review of organizational performance, information and knowledge management, employee work systems, learning and motivation, employee well-being and satisfaction, value-creation processes, support processes and operational planning.
