Two Connecticut Associations Join the National Energy Choice Program; NEChoice, LLC Receives License From the State of Connecticut.

NEChoice, LLC, through its National Energy Choice program, today announced it has signed exclusive marketing agreements with the Connecticut Association of Health Care Facilities (CAHCF) and with the Connecticut Conference of Independent Colleges (CCIC). By teaming with National Energy Choice, the Connecticut Association of Health Care Facilities and the Connecticut Conference of Independent Colleges will be able to provide their members with a variety of energy cost savings programs and other services including electricity, natural gas supply, energy efficiency and bill auditing services.

Both Greiman and Brown echoed the sentiment that their members have been interested in ways to reduce their energy costs and the energy programs developed by National Energy Choice will give their members the means to obtain savings in a one stop, comprehensive manner. National Energy Choice is a program of NEChoice, LLC, a Boston-based energy services firm that will oversee the marketing and execution of the arrangements with both organizations and work to find the best money-saving energy deals for CAHCF and CCIC members.

In addition to signing these exclusive marketing agreements, NEChoice, LLC received its license from the Connecticut Department of Public Utilities to serve as an aggregator of customers for energy suppliers. To date there are only a few firms licensed in Connecticut to provide energy aggregation services. Energy aggregators typically pool customers with a larger buying group in order to obtain more favorable prices and terms on energy supplies. NEChoice, through its National Energy Choice program, has successfully aggregated customers in the deregulated states of Massachusetts and Rhode Island saving its customers millions of dollars in electricity and natural gas savings over the term of the supply contracts.

The Connecticut Association of Health Care Facilities and the Connecticut Conference of Independent Colleges will be joining nineteen other associations that the National Energy Choice program serves including the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities, the New England Newspaper Association, the Massachusetts Chambers Collaborative and the Rhode Island Association of School Committees.
