Two Bus Stops At Walnut Creek BART Station Will Be Relocated.


CONCORD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 5, 1998--Effective Monday, Nov. 9, 1998 the Route 102 bus stop to Trotter trotter: see Standardbred horse.  Way and the Route 115 bus stop will be relocated re·lo·cate

The area under the BART tracks where the Route 102 currently stops will be open to two-way auto traffic. BART will install new stop signs and make appropriate road markings. This change will now allow automobiles to exit the station on to California Blvd. from the west side of the BART station.

Walnut Creek Walnut Creek, residential city (1990 pop. 60,569), Contra Costa co., W Calif., in the San Francisco Bay area; inc. 1914. It is the trade and shipping center of an extensive agricultural area where walnuts are among the major product.  BART station is one of the busiest stations with nine bus routes providing service. A new station map will be posted in the BART station and County Connection will post detour signs at the affected stops. "While these changes concern County Connection, we will evaluate the impact on our on-time performance, as well as safety issues after a six month period," said Rick Ramacier, General Manager of County Connection.
