Twichell named WMIA president. (Trends & News).
In his acceptance speech at the WMIA's annual business session, held during the recent Woodworking Industry Conference, Twichell outlined projects on WMIA's strategic agenda. They include: backing the High Productivity Investment Act for computerized equipment, expediting the WinSTEP open-architecture software initiative, improving WMIA training programs, expanding the value of the annual WIC meeting, expanding WMIA's Internet presence and working with WIG associates to build a Web- based master database to help customers find complete information on woodworking supplies and systems, supporting WoodLINKS-USA, and having WMIA members mentor Educational Foundation Scholarship recipients.
