Twelve newsletters, two direct mail packages win 1999 Newsletter Awards Competition.


The 27th Annual Newsletter Awards Competition yielded a dozen winning newsletters judged in six categories on "overall excellence, appropriate design, typography typography (tīpŏg`rəfē), the art of printing from movable type. The term typographer is today virtually synonymous with a master printer skilled in the techniques of type and paper stock selection, ornamentation, and composition. , photographic quality and printing quality." In the Promotion Awards Competition, two Gold Awards were chosen in two categories as "outstanding examples of a newsletter promotion package."
