Turner Investment Partners Names 12 New Principals, 72 of 93 Employees Now Hold Equity Ownership in Firm.


BERWYN, Pa. -- With the latest appointment of 12 new principals, 77% of the employees at Turner Investment Partners will hold equity ownership in the investment firm, which manages more than $18 billion in assets in growth, value, and core stocks for institutions and individuals.

The 12 new principals will be among the 72 employees who have shares in the Berwyn, Pennsylvania-based firm, which employs 93 people and was founded in 1990.

Turner's assets under management Assets Under Management (AUM) is a term used by financial services companies in the mutual fund and money management or investment management business to gauge how much money they are managing.  have increased by more than 150% in the past three years, and the principalships have served to reward employees who have helped the firm to grow and succeed in serving clients. All full-time Turner employees are eligible to become principals.

--Karl Zeller, 29, director in the Managed Account Team, and a resident of Wayne, Pennsylvania. He joined the firm in 2002 and was awarded a bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia in 1998.
