Turbolinux to Open an Affiliate in India.


TOKYO -- In a strategic move designed to advance its position in the global market, Turbolinux, Inc., a worldwide leader of Linux-based solutions, today announced that it plans to establish its first Turbolinux Indian division in Gurgaon City, Haryana, India. Turbolinux India Private Limited (hereinafter called Turbolinux India) will be a joint venture between Turbolinux, Inc. and India Action Plan Company Limited (I.A.P.)

Under the terms of the joint venture agreement, Turbolinux will retain a majority share with 55% of the new company, while I.A.P. holds 45%. Total initial capital is 27.2 million Rupees (approximately USD USD
