Exmoor' s simple inserter, the "Grasper" (U.S. patent pending), grasps the vent tube firmly and presents it to the myrubgotomy incision at precisely the right angle for insertion. It is at the heart of Exmoor's customizable Myringotomy Kit, which can comprise as little as the inserter with a couple of vent tubes or a more comprehensive list of components, e.g., three specula, wax curette, suction tube S. 112, plain tip (18 swg), ear mop, arrow myringotome, gauze flannel, one "Grasper," two vent tubes, and a cotton wool swab.

Everything necessary is conveniently at hand. Set-up and reprocessing costs are saved, and nothing used is inadvertently omitted from the patient's account.
