Tube City IMS Corporation Cayce, S.C. Operation Receives Safety Award.

PITTSBURGH, May 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Tube City IMS Corporation, a provider of products and services to steel mills and foundries throughout the United States, Canada and Europe, today announced that its IMS Division operation in Cayce, SC, has earned the Palmetto Safety Excellence Award from the South Carolina Occupational Safety Council for its outstanding 2006 safety performance.

The Palmetto Safety Award was presented to the site for having the lowest Occupational Safety and Health Administration Recordable Incidence Rate.

The safety awards were presented at the April 27, 2007, annual awards banquet of the South Carolina Occupational Safety Council in Myrtle Beach.

It is the second safety award the Cayce operation has received. The site received the National Slag Association 2006 safety award for "Lowest Incident Rate, 51-75 Employees" in late March.
