Trutzschler Expanding Production Into India

German machinery producer Trutzschler, Monchengladback, told the international press at ITMA '91 in Hannover, Germany last month that it has shifted its sales emphasis in the past four years from the U.S. (where it has an annual turnover of about $40 million) and Europe towards Asia and the developing regions. In one recent move, the company has begun production of its DK 740 high production card through its Trumac joint venture in Ahmedabad, India. This step will be taken by the middle of next year.
