Merman
 Disco Album for Billboard in 1979, I don't think you should be so quick to dismiss Merman's effort ["Disco Wrecking Ball," March 4]. At the time, she was the biggest (in many ways) Broadway star to do disco.

Disco was a fun era and must have had something going for it, since many young gays and straights are enjoying its current revival at some clubs and on major FM radio outlets. Perhaps reviewer Dave White has become a tad jaded jad·ed
