Trump/Cappelli soiree to benefit local hospital.

White Plains Hospital Center has been designated the sole beneficiary of the Trump Tower Official Opening Party and Designer Showcase on Wednesday, September 21 at Trump Tower in White Plains, N.Y. The event will be hosted by Donald J. Trump and Louis R. Cappelli.

An elegant evening of cocktails, dinner-by-the-bite from some of the area's finest restaurants and a silent auction is planned from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on the outdoor recreation plaza at Trump Tower, which will be tented and lit for the special occasion. David Tutera, of the Discovery Channel show "Party Planner with David Tutera," will create a signature style for the evening.

Guests will step into a world of splendor and elegance to see three fabulous Trump Tower penthouse apartments, each decorated by top design professionals at Costas Kondylis Interiors, Gary J. Paul and Darren Henault Interiors. Live and silent auctions will enable WPHC supporters to vie for trips, jewelry and other items. Space is limited so early reservations are recommended.

Mrs. Cappelli explained her decision to choose White Plains Hospital as the beneficiary this way: "Westchester county faces somewhat of a crisis in healthcare. Two area hospitals have closed in the last two years, which puts tremendous pressure on White Plains Hospital Center to answer the increased demand by enlarging critical areas of the Hospital so that it can continue to expand its services and provide excellent health care to everyone. It is incumbent upon all of us to help raise the necessary funds to accomplish this goal."

The money raised at the Trump Tower event will go towards the expansion of the Center's emergency department, the busies in Westchester county, as well as its cardiac care and designated stroke centers.

GVA hits a home run with Woodbridge broker party

GVA Williams has announced it hosted a highly successful broker open house on June 21 at Woodbridge Corporate Plaza in Iselin, N.J. Attendees enjoyed the rare opportunity to meet and have photos taken with New York Yankees' first baseman, Tino Martinez.
