Triple Play Plus.
This language program is called Triple Play because you can click
on games and exercises from one of three areas on the screen. First,
choose a subject, like "Eating Out" or "People and
Clothes." One area teaches vocabulary through games like
concentration and bingo. A second area teaches you how to use phrases,
and it features scenes of people talking. The third uses characters in
comic strips followed by language exercises. This is an easy program to
use, and it comes with a microphone for talking to the computer--so the
program can rate your accent! Triple Play Plus is from Syracuse Language
Systems, 1-800-797-5264, and is suggested for kids eight and older.
