Brampton 9235 Outreach Corporation--Knights Table Restaurant. To enable the organization to enhance and expand its operation, which provides meals, foodstuffs, and other supports to disadvantaged individuals and families in Brampton. $165,000 over three years.

Caledon Parent-Child Centre. For building renovations that will enable the centre to serve more families and young children in this growing community. $80,000 over one year.

Characteristics Inspiring Achievement Youth Organization. To support recreational activities for at-risk youth in the Malton neighbourhood. $9,000 over one year.

Community Living Oakville. To develop an awareness initiative that will increase understanding of individuals with learning disabilities and to enhance fundraising activities in support of programs that serve these individuals and their families. $170,000 over three years.

Distress Centre Peel. To provide effective training, supervision and support for call centre volunteers so they can offer quality frontline crisis care and intervention to members of the community who are in distress. $151,400 over three years.

Rapport Youth and Family Services for ECLYPSE Youth Drop-in Centre Initiative. To support this youth centre in coordinating a comprehensive range of programs offered to high-risk youth in Brampton that benefits the entire community. $216,000 over three years.

Habitat for Humanity, Halton. To provide administrative and management support for ReStore activities, which generate revenue from the sale of re-used construction materials for the development of affordable housing in the Halton area. $150,000 over three years.

Halton Under 12 Outreach Project c/o Transitions for Youth. To provide early intervention support to children who are in contact with the police. The initiative aims at addressing underlying problems to reduce the chance of continued offending behaviour. $149,000

Peel Children's Aid Society. To contribute to the start up of the Peel Children's Aid Foundation by providing support for capacity building and resource development activities. $225,000 over three years.

Peel P.E.A.C.E. Campaign Initiative c/o Multicultural Inter-Agency Group of Peel. To support the introduction of a pilot, school-based anti-violence and peace-promoting initiative for area youth which includes drama presentations, workshops and a youth conference.

United Way of Peel Region. To implement an outcomes measurement training program for community-based non-profits to enable them to improve their capacity to deliver effective programs. $140,700 over two years.

Victim Services of Peel. To assist in renovating and furnishing the centre's new office space which will provide a multi-functional and supportive environment to victims of violence and abuse in the community. $95,000 over one year.

Children's International Learning Centre, Hamilton. To develop and run a children's program called "Eracism: Lighting the way to diversity." The initiative encourages respect for all people and our common environment. $25,000 over one year.

The Community Counselling Centre, Hamilton-Wentworth. To assist the centre in developing a process to merge with another not-for-profit organization in order to provide more efficient and enhanced services to the community. $33,000 over one year.

Good Shepherd Centre, Hamilton. To assist the organization in developing an effective communications and fundraising strategy that will enable it to continue to provide valued shelter and food service programs in the community. $25,000 over one year.

Hamilton AIDS Network. To enhance and expand programs for people living with AIDS/HIV in the Hamilton area by supporting the implementation of resource development and marketing plans to increase outreach, volunteer recruitment and fundraising. (An additional OTF grant of $9,700 has been approved for the Grand River area.) $63,800 over three years.

Hospital Family Houses of Ontario. To support needed renovations to the Mark Preece Family House, a short-term residence which serves family and friends of critically ill patients who are receiving treatment in hospital. $75,000

Kids Care Oncology, Central West Ontario. To assess software replacement needs and develop a fundraising strategy to build the organization's capacity to sustain operations.
