Community Care of St. Catharines and Thorold. To purchase storage equipment for the newly renovated distribution warehouse and to purchase a van that will enable the organization to more efficiently distribute basic necessities to clients in need. $75,000 over one year.
Wentworth Minor Football Association. To purchase equipment that will enable more area teams to participate in community football. $35,500 over six months.
Community Care of West Niagara. To better coordinate marketing, fund development, volunteer management, training and community relations, for this agency which provides basic necessities of life in West Niagara. $118,000 over three years.
Community Outreach Program Erie. To purchase a used van to pick up and deliver food and medicine to people in need, assist with client transportation, and provide other emergency assistance. $24,000 over six months.
Fort Erie Community YMCA. To purchase equipment and furnishing for YMCA First Base Centre in Crystal Beach that provides under-serviced and high-risk families with a supportive child care and education program centre. $24,000 over six months.
The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada Niagara Peninsula, Chapter of Hope. To complete a comprehensive organizational service review and further elaborate resource development and marketing strategy. $31,400 over one year.
Women's Addiction Recovery Mediation. To develop and maintain a client service database that will enable the organization to research, track and more effectively address health, social and financial problems associated with substance abuse. $24,900 over one year.
Beaver Valley Outreach. To renovate and transform a fire hall in Thornbury into a multi-service facility where programs and services for children, youth and parents will be offered by several not-for-profit organizations serving the community, $56,000 over one year.
Epilepsy Huron, Perth, Bruce. To enable the organization to develop a strategic plan to increase its financial and volunteer resources and introduce a full educational program. $74,000 over 18 months.
Huron Safe Homes for Youth. To support the development of coordinated services and programs to meet employment and other needs of youth throughout Huron County through the YouthStart Program. $56,300
