Tribeca building sold for $12.5m.


The majority of The Cary Building, a landmark pre-Civil War commercial building located at 105 Chambers Street Chambers Street is a street in Edinburgh, Scotland, at south of the Old Town. The street is named after William Chambers of Glenormiston, the Lord Provost of Edinburgh who was the main proponent of the 1867 Edinburgh Improvement Act, which gave permission for the street's  in the heart of the TriBeCa South Historic District, has been purchased by 8th Avenue Associates for $12.5 million.

 Widmaier, who will continue to provide rental agent duties at the building, 8th Avenue Associates purchased the 45,600 s/f ground-floor retail space, basement, sub-basement, the second through fourth floors, and the building's air rights. The asking price was $13 million.
