Trevor update. (Law).

A judge in State Bar Court requested additional briefs to be filed by the lawyers for the State Bar of California and Trevor Law Group LLC, the Beverly Hills law firm whose members could be disbarred.

On April 18, Judge Richard Honn requested additional briefs to be filed in the next several weeks by State Bar lawyers and Kevin Gerry, the attorney who represents Damian Trevor, Allan Hendrickson and Shane Chang Han at Trevor Law Group.

The State Bar claims the Trevor Law Group may have abused the state's Business and Professions Code 17200 by targeting thousands of restaurants and auto repair shops for out-of-court settlements.

E.J. Bernacki, spokesman for the State Bar, said he expected the judge to make his decision on May 21.

Gerry did not return phone calls.
