TreeTop Development, LLC has begun renovations on two rental buildings that will introduce seventy-one new homes to the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, N.Y.

Leasing will commence early next year for the upscale complexes which will be located at 188 South 3rd Street and 326 South 1st Street in this historic neighborhood, according to Adam Mermelstein, a principal of the Manhattan-based development company. "With the rental market growing stronger in Williamsburg, a significant lack of affordably-priced rental homes has emerged in the area," said Mermelstein. "These two rental buildings will go a long way towards easing the demand by providing artsy-designed residences offered at attractive rental rates."

An eclectic mix of 41 newly-designed two-and three-bedroom homes will be offered in a six-story building at 188 South 3rd Street.

Found throughout the luxurious floorplans will be interior highlights such as hardwood floors, modern baths and kitchens and many other upscale finishes and appointments. Rents will begin from $1,700 for two-bedroom homes and $2,300 for three-bedroom designs.

326 South 1st Street will feature 30 redesigned two-bedroom rental homes with upscale appointments such as modern baths and kitchens and hardwood floors.

Homes will rent from $1,700. The six-story triangular-shaped corner building will also boast 1,650 square-feet of ground-floor retail space with 65' of frontage which is now available for leasing.

Both buildings will include modernized lobbies and common areas.
