AMERICAN FORESTS' Global ReLeaf program is again accepting grant requests for tree planting projects for spring and autumn 20007. Global ReLeaf, started in 1988, has helped plant more than 25 million trees worldwide. Download the project proposal form at http://www.american forests American Forests is a nonprofit conservation organization that promotes healthy forests and urban tree planting.

The organization was established in 1875 as the American Forestry Association, by physician/horticulturist John Aston Warder and a group of like-minded citizens

In 2006, AMERICAN FORESTS planted a million trees in projects around the world.
