DAYTON, Ohio -- The new TreStar P Series from Staco Energy Products Co. offers something new in its product line - a parallelable UPS. The TreStar P can parallel up to eight units for capacity or redundancy without the need of a paralleling cabinet. Available in 125 - 150 and 180 - 225 kVA units, the TreStar P provides sophisticated protection for any mission-critical application.

The TreStar P Series, in addition to blackout protection, offers standard features such as a .9 power factor output, vector-controlled IGBT inverter, state of the art communications, and advanced battery management system. It is easy to install and control, with top and bottom cable entry, matching batteries and internal disconnect, and user friendly front control panel with an easy to read LCD panel. The TreStar P Series' new digital control system eliminates all overloads, frequency variations, transients, flicker and blackouts in real-time.

The TreStar P Series UPS offers maximum system efficiency and maximum protection. It provides 93.5% efficiency and less than 3% total harmonic distortion (THD) with a 7% harmonic filter (standard on the 180 - 225 models). It can withstand a 25% voltage overload for 10 minutes, and can accept a voltage input range of +15% to -20% as normal, while continuously regulating the output to within 1% for a balanced load. The 125 and 150 kVA models offer an optional 208 VAC input and output.
