The new module, offered exclusively by Travelers Bond, is designed to train managers and supervisors on the topic of employee terminations.

Risk Management PLUS+ Online is a web-based risk management tool that Travelers Bond provides to its employment practices liability (EPL) insureds. The program includes searchable online databases for human resources personnel, sample employment policies and procedures and interactive online training. Another feature of the program is a toll free hotline that enables insureds to directly access employment attorneys.

The new online training module takes managers and supervisors through several scenarios on topics related to employee terminations. They are then posed some questions about how the situation should best be handled. The covered topics range from employment at will and implied contracts to wrongful termination for discriminatory or retaliatory reasons.
