Divergent opinions continue to proliferate regarding pending California legislation #SB 994. Spearheaded by Senator Morrow of Oceanside, this bill is intended to permanently establish many of the legal points temporarily secured by the infamous AB 1296. This test bill, which established skateboarding as a hazardous activity, is credited by many as having inspired a gigantic surge in the construction of public skateparks.

Other odd occurrences included Andy MacDonald trying every slalom board in sight and Bob Burnquist hitting the slopes at a very fast pace.
